Job Summary

Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup. Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
2. Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup and address last-minute changes.
3. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
4. Understand and demonstrate menu items.
5. Instruct staff on work expectations for catered events.
6. Assist staff in setting up rooms to specifications.
7. Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
8. Serve food and beverages to guests.
9. Return equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
10. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance following HACCP standards.
11. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment and supplies.
12. Follow approved recipes and standards for food preparation.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Possession of a valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by law.
