Location: Foley Hoag - 155 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA 02210. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, including some evenings. 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior catering, banquets, high-level catering, and customer service experience preferred.

Job Summary

Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup. Prepares and serves food under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
2. Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup and resolve last-minute issues.
3. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
4. Understand menu items thoroughly.
5. Instruct staff on work expectations.
6. Assist staff with setup.
7. Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
8. Serve food and beverages.
9. Return equipment and supplies.
10. Maintain presentation, portion control, and temperatures following HACCP standards.
11. Keep equipment and supplies clean and organized.
12. Follow approved recipes and standards for food prep.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain or possess a food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as per state law.
