Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Set up assigned bars; stock all necessary beverages and supplies.
3. Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
4. Greet guests courteously.
5. Take and process drink orders; mix and garnish drinks; practice portion control.
6. Check guest IDs for proper identification.
7. Detect and respond to guest intoxication; know liquor laws.
8. Handle cash transactions accurately and verify charges.
9. Secure all beverage and food items, equipment, cash, and deposits.
10. Perform cleaning tasks to meet health standards; keep work area organized.
11. Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
12. Wash and sterilize stemware.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
