We are hiring immediately for full-time Catering Attendant positions at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; open availability preferred, hours from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, including some weekends. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous food handling experience is preferred but not mandatory. Willing to train.

Pay Rate: $19.70 per hour.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and cleans event areas, manages leftover food and equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies.
2. Logs food temperatures.
3. Prepares tables and decorations.
4. Serves food and beverages.
5. Cleans location post-event.
6. Returns equipment and leftover food.
7. Maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
8. Provides courteous service.
9. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
