• Location: Baptist Health Brookwood - 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, with some weekends required. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: At least two years of catering and dining experience required.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions, cleans up, and returns leftover food and equipment promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns food, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer feedback forms.
• Maintains catering equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by law.
