Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Catering Coordinator to support catering operations at Sames Auto Arena, assisting with event preparation, setup, service and cleanup to ensure a seamless guest experience.

In this role, you will coordinate with the Catering Supervisor/Manager, maintain equipment and signage, and uphold professional, courteous guest service while keeping areas clean and organized during and after events.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong organizational and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all catering equipment.
• Ensures signage is properly displayed for each event.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor/Manager.
• Sets glassware, silverware, dinnerware, and other setup supplies in a timely manner.
• Ensures catered areas are sanitary and organized after events.
• Serves functions in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Breaks down all catering areas after events.

THE ROLE

Supporting catering operations by assisting with various tasks related to the preparation, setup, service, and cleanup of events.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all catering equipment.

• Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event.

• Set up tables, top chairs and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor/Manager in a timely and efficient manner.

• Set all glassware silverware, dinnerware, and additional set-up necessities in a timely manner.

• Ensure that all catered areas have been left in a sanitary and organized manner.

• Serve all functions in a professional, courteous, efficient manner.

• Break down all catering areas after event.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

• Always present a professional appearance and demeanor during the workday.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• Food Handlers Card preferred.

• TIPS Certified preferred.
