Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Catering Attendant in our Food & Beverage department. This role oversees all catering functions to ensure events are organized and guests are satisfied, with duties including equipment upkeep and precise adherence to BEOs.

The position requires 6 months to 1 year of catering or club experience, at least 19 years old, and the ability to stand long hours while lifting up to 50 pounds. A flexible schedule including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining, organizing and cleaning banquet equipment.
• Ensure signage is properly displayed for each event.
• Fulfill service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO), as well as Catering Department Service Standards.
• Follow SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION: Catering Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Catering & Premium Services Manager
FLSA STATUS: PT Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the General Manager for Legends Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Catering Attendant oversees all catering functions to ensure that the assigned events and activities are organized and executed resulting in the complete satisfaction of the guests attending the event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all banquet equipment.
• Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
• Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event
• Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO), as well as Catering Department Service Standards.
• Must adhere to the SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by Department of Health.

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season
