Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures accurate execution of events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans and breaks down setup; returns leftovers and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets buffet tables with food and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service to guests.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
