Job summary

Good Shepherd Campus invites applications for a part-time Catering Assistant in Sauk Rapids, MN, to support meals for residents and assist with dining services.

You will help receive meal orders, serve during meals, transport meals, and maintain kitchen and dining areas while supporting a compassionate team. Prior food service and senior care exposure is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Previous experience in food preparation and serving preferred
• Ability to work as a team member and resolve problem situations constructively
• Experience working with seniors preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive tenants' meal orders and submit them to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages during scheduled mealtimes
• Transport meals from the main kitchen to campus dining rooms
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
• Wash and store dishes, utensils, and cooking/serving equipment
• Prepare and package home-delivered meals for community clients
• Update and maintain menu boards for tenants
