Job summary

Arcare Belmont is seeking a Casual Food Services Assistant to support our dining program for residents. You will help with meal prep, plating, serving, and maintaining clean dining areas in a friendly, resident-centered environment.

Holders of a Food Handler’s Certificate or those willing to obtain one are encouraged to apply. Australian Working Rights and an NDIS Worker Screening Check are required; we promote equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Holds or is willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents’ comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes

What We’re Looking For

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Certificate
