The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is seeking a Caterer to support the Food and Beverage team by setting up, serving, and deconstructing events such as banquets and weddings. You will work with management and service staff to create a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities include transporting and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, upholding food safety, and engaging guests professionally. Some events may require weekends or evenings.
The Caterer works with the Food and Beverage team to ensure outstanding set-up and execution of catered events. The primary responsibility of this position is setting up, serving food, and deconstructing events such as banquets, weddings, and other social or business functions. The Caterer may work with members of various Food and Beverage entities including management and service staff, to create an experience for the guest which is seamless and exceeds their expectations.
This position is both an indoor and outdoor position. Indoor settings will be in a controlled, temperate environment while outside conditions may be in a hotter climate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk, hear, hand/eye coordination, stand, walk, have repetitive use of hands and arms, and grasp. Visual acuity to determine accuracy, details and transcribe data, determine neatness and thoroughness of work assigned, and determine safety of workplace surroundings for themselves and guests. Occasionally required to push, pull, stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work long hours and available for evenings, weekends and holidays if required.
