US Foods in Roanoke, VA is seeking a seasoned Category Manager to lead the implementation of division category strategy across the area’s Distribution Centers. You will drive assortment changes, optimize pricing with customers, and align local plans with national goals.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or related field, or equivalent field experience required.
• Minimum 7 years category management experience in food service/manufacturing.
• Ability to operate within a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement area category strategy across multiple Distribution Centers.
• Drive KPIs across categories and refine customer offering and pricing discussions.
• Review Area product assortment, optimize offerings and align with national strategy.
• Lead training and new product introductions with sales staff.
• Support FSQA inquiries and coordinate vendor-related activities.
