Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) division is seeking a Category Specialist to support Engineering and Construction. The role partners with Engineering, Project Management, and Legal to develop bid packages, evaluate proposals, resolve commercial issues, and support project execution. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation and communication skills, sound business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently drive cross-functional initiatives. This position is based in Juno Beach, Florida.

Job Overview

This role supports the category management function with source-to-pay activities and oversees sourcing related activities to ensure alignment with category strategies. Employees in this role regularly meet with Business Units (BUs) to collect requirements and feedback and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for categories in scope. This role meets with stakeholders on strategy development and regularly participates in cross-functional meetings.
