Job summary

Rural King, America’s Farm and Home Store, is seeking a Category Marketing Planning Specialist in Mattoon, IL. You will shape and execute marketing strategies for promotions, products, and brands, leading cross-functional teams and agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.

You’ll manage vendor CO-OP funds, guide creative partners, and ensure coordination with field teams, driving measurable results and strategic alignment with Rural King's roadmap.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of marketing planning experience.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of retail business practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing plans across channels (digital, social, email, in-store).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and agencies.
• Manage vendor CO-OP funds within the marketing budget.
• Communicate results and learnings to leadership.
