Job summary

Quikrete is seeking a Category Manager, Natural Gas to lead enterprise-wide sourcing, procurement, and risk management for reliable supply and cost optimization across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with Operations, Finance and Legal to develop long-term energy strategies, monitor markets, and provide market expertise and reporting on spend, savings, and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Energy Management, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of natural gas procurement, commodity management, or industrial sourcing experience.
• FERC knowledge and MBA/CEM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute natural gas sourcing, procurement, and risk management strategies.
• Lead RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, transportation and storage agreements.
• Monitor markets, pricing, weather, regulations, and recommend actions to manage cost and supply risk.
• Build relationships with suppliers, utilities, and pipeline operators while monitoring performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, and energy initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and provide reporting on spend, savings, and market trends.
