Overview

Chewy is seeking a Category Manager to join our exciting and fast-paced team. The Category Manager will own the P&L, business strategy, and operations for a key strategic brand (or two), developing marketing plans to generate customer acquisition, partnering with supply chain to maintain inventory health, and driving growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced and versatile leader with a proven track record of high performance, who earns the trust of internal and external partners, operates at depth, and has experience in high-growth business environments.

What You’ll Do

• Have full ownership of brand sales encompassing assortment, pricing, promotions, and brand performance.
• Delivers outstanding execution across vendor operations, including item and content setup, ordering/forecasting, promotional planning, and related activities.
• Define the strategy to build the business, deliver rapid growth, launch new products, and expand vendor relationships.
• Analyze market, customer, and data insights to elevate performance and refine strategies.

What You’ll Need

• Over three years of business experience in leading ecommerce, retail, FMCG, or related organizations.
• 3+ years of category or brand management experience.
• Strong comprehensive business insight. Proficient in vendor management, product management, marketing, supply chain, operations, and project management.
• Demonstrated success building and rapidly scaling new, complex businesses at a high growth rate.
• Proven operator, skilled in high-quality go-to-market execution, with an unshakable growth mindset.
• Excellent communication, strategic and analytical skills.
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

The base salary range for this role is $110,500 - $176,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by factors including relevant experience, education, and work location. This position is eligible for 401k, a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may be eligible for an annual bonus.
