Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Global Supply Chain - Category Management, Manager in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead a team of procurement professionals responsible for sustainment hardware and services, driving supplier performance and ensuring material availability.

Ideally you bring strong leadership, the ability to coach and develop talent, and experience aligning business priorities with actionable procurement processes across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relatable field.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations or similar arena.
• Experience managing supplier performance, material availability, and/or production-related supply chain risk.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of procurement professionals responsible for the execution and performance of the sustainment hardware and services provided by suppliers and other LM business areas.
• Develop a high-performing team that proactively manages suppliers and other LM business areas, drives commitments, identifies and escalates risk, and ensures material availability in support of sustainment requirements.
• The successful candidate will establish clear priorities, coach and develop employees, and create a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Responsibilities include driving supplier delivery performance, ensuring subcontract data accuracy, resolving complex supply-chain constraints, leading supplier recovery efforts, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relatable field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations or similar arena
• Experience managing supplier performance, material availability, and/or production-related supply chain risk

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated success developing high-performing procurement teams
• In depth understanding of supplier performance metrics and related data systems (SAP, P2P, Rapid Response, etc)
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies
• Subject matter expert in building effective relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders & external suppliers
• Advanced communication practice escalating risks effectively across multiple levels of leadership

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
