Job summary

Cardinal Health in Dublin, Ohio, is offering a Category Management Internship for Summer 2027. The program provides a structured 10–12 week experience designed for undergraduate students entering their senior year, with a May 2027 start and housing assistance where needed.

Interns collaborate with professionals across the business, develop leadership and analytical skills, and have opportunities to interview for full-time roles upon completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product, inventory, and customer purchasing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within assigned product categories.
• Monitor SKU performance and inventory movement, including discontinued products and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to track category metrics and support decision-making.
• Track customer purchasing activity following new product placements and distribution opportunities.
• Investigate where expected demand did not materialize and collaborate to understand root causes.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clear communication.
• Collaborate with sales teams to drive alignment on category strategies.
