Job summary

Gordon Food Service in the United States is offering a 12-week paid internship in the Home Office. You will work on the GB Category team with mentorship and meaningful projects that impact our business.

You’ll analyze data, track KPIs, support end-to-end product lifecycle activities, and collaborate with teams such as Communications, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Supply Chain and Sales to build broad business acumen and hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Track key performance indicators and support Vendor Performance Reviews to drive improvements.
• Assist with end-to-end product lifecycle management and day-to-day category activities.
• Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support category strategies and decisions.
• Collaborate with other teams to build comprehensive business acumen and participate in mentorship, shadowing and networking activities.

Working alongside our Category Management team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas:

• Marketing & Merchandising
• Supply Chain
• Sales

Build a Career:

In the Category Management department by:

• Tracking key performance indicators and pulling Vendor Performance Reviews to help drive vendor performance improvement.
• Supporting end-to-end product lifecycle management and executing day-to-day category activities, including BCI workflows.
• Conducting data analysis and generate reports to support category management strategies and decisions.
• Collaborating with other teams and spending strategic time with each role within the GB Category team to build comprehensive business acumen.
