Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Manager Category Leadership to lead the Walmart Quick Whole Snacks category within Accelerator. You will guide category strategy, shopper insights, assortment and shelf optimization, and long-term growth plans, partnering across teams to win at retail.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate data into actionable, merchant-ready recommendations and build category narratives that drive business results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven thinking.
• Experience with shopper/consumer insights beneficial.
• Proficiency with syndicated data (Nielsen/Circana/Numerator) preferred.
• Familiarity with loyalty card data and shopper panels a plus.
• Space planning software proficiency (JDA/Apollo/Spaceman).
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to engage senior retailer stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations with impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category thought leadership.
• Own shelving and assortment strategy for the category, incl. shelf flow and space-to-sales.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for the customer.
• Create merchant-ready stories and category reviews translating analytics into wins.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Insights, Strategy, and Shopper teams.
