Job summary

Jasco seeks an Associate Ecommerce Strategist to grow and maintain a defined product category. You will analyze e-commerce data, develop strategic plans, and drive growth across product lines and brands.

You’ll present insights to cross-functional teams, collaborate with marketing on advertising, and manage inventory, pricing, and promotions to achieve revenue goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, data analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop a winning growth strategy for your category of business based on data insights, understanding of the market, and competition.
• Frequently present business insights to cross-functional teams from weekly POS data and other daily activities that represent what you are doing to grow your business.
• Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership in the day-to-day business administration on assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Advertising Manager on ways to advertise key items and grow organic and paid sales.
• Lead weekly meetings with product management that create a teamwork environment and alignment on strategies to grow the business.
• Develop a promotional strategy aligned with Pricing Department and update Promotional Calendar.
• Meet with Purchasing Department on inventory levels to ensure optimal sales opportunities.
• Participate in meetings on new product/brand launches and business reviews for your category.
• Drive strategies to manage excess and idle inventory consistent with corporate goals, including content, listing, and pricing strategies.
• Create and maintain a dashboard of critical tactical activities for growth.
• Prepare internal pricing requests balancing Jasco profitability with customer margins.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
