Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Category Support Specialist to manage product data lifecycle and item readiness across all channels. You will verify attributes, pricing structures, and supplier data to ensure 100% accuracy and smooth onboarding of new items.

You will partner with Category Managers and ACMs to translate strategy into system configuration, maintain item setup across merchandising and pricing systems, and drive data quality improvements to support efficient store and supply‑chain operations.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Utilize advanced Excel capabilities (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data cleaning functions).
• Experience with SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier and system item data to ensure attribute accuracy for ordering and distribution.
• Maintain item attributes, descriptions, classifications, and UPCs.
• Identify anomalies inconsistent with category intent across store and supply chain workflows.
• Validate UPC structures, pack sizes, and min/max parameters for procurement.
• Verify item setup costs, taxes, fees, and deposits by geography.
• Ensure logistics attributes align with DSD, warehouse, and 3PL requirements.
• Submit new item forms (NIFs) and maintenance requests with high accuracy.
• Support vendor mappings during route-to-market changes.
• Use Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) to analyze data and support root-cause analysis.
• Resolve attribute discrepancies with suppliers and internal partners within SLAs.
