Job summary

7-Eleven, Irving, TX, is seeking a Category Support Specialist to manage end-to-end item data across all retail delivery channels. You will verify attributes, UPCs, pricing, and compliance, coordinating with CM/ACM for category execution.

The role requires attention to detail and strong Excel/SQL skills, with collaboration across suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate onboarding and ongoing item maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in merchandising or data management.
• SQL experience preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct upstream and downstream reviews of supplier and system‑created item data for accuracy across attributes, pricing, and readiness.
• Verify and maintain item attributes, descriptions, classifications, UPCs, and related fields.
• Validate cost components, taxes, and logistics fields to align with geography and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Category Managers (CMs) and Associate Category Managers (ACMs) to translate category strategy into system configuration; assist in line reviews.
• Own submission of new item forms (NIFs) and attribute updates with accuracy across merchandising, pricing, inventory, and planning systems.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets for store‑reported item issues, driving root‑cause analysis and timely resolutions.
