Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Analytics Associate to join the Category Planning team. You will become the engine behind recurring reports, transforming ad hoc requests into impactful insights.

You’ll triage data needs, maintain dashboards, and ensure data integrity while partnering across teams to shape commercial strategies. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to Looker, Power BI and Tableau, while learning ERP processes and modern analytics workflows that drive measurable business growth in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in category management analytics or similar data-driven role.
• Experience with modern BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to interact with dashboards; Alteryx a plus.
• Beginner proficiency in SQL; exposure to cloud data warehouses (BigQuery) is a plus.
• Interest in AI tools and automation to improve workflows and reporting efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to clarify questions and provide updates.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) or Pharmaceutical/Consumer Health industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power recurring standard reports with consistent timing and formatting for stakeholders.
• Transform ad hoc data requests into actionable deliverables by engaging with stakeholders.
• Triages requests, scopes requirements, deadlines, and stakeholder needs for analytics.
• Maintain backlog and provide status updates on ETAs and ownership.
• Monitor dashboard health and resolve data issues before reaching business users.
• Document report logic, inputs, assumptions, and calculations in SOPs.
• Guide stakeholders to single source of truth dashboards and promote self-service data discovery.
• Perform data quality checks and source reconciliations to ensure analytical integrity.
• Develop a deep understanding of data sources and tools to support business strategy.
• Prepare key metrics and highlight risks or opportunities for leadership.
