Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Analytics Associate in Dublin, Ohio within the Category Planning team. You will turn market and performance data into competitive insights, influence category strategies and drive measurable growth through advanced analytics platforms.

You will gain hands-on exposure to Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, and Alteryx, building foundational reporting, data operations, and commercial acumen while partnering with cross-functional teams to empower business decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
1–3 years of experience in category management analytics or a similar data-driven role.
Experience using modern BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau or similar) to interact with dashboards; Alteryx a plus.
Proficiency with SQL and exposure to cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) preferred.
Interest in AI tools and automation to improve workflows and reporting efficiency.

Responsibilities

Powering Business Insights: Drive recurring standard reports with consistent timing and formatting for stakeholders.
Solving Business Questions: Transform ad hoc data requests into actionable deliverables by engaging with stakeholders.
Managing the Data Pipeline: triage requests and scope requirements, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.
Driving Analytics Delivery: maintain a backlog and provide visibility into statuses, ETAs, and ownership.
Safeguarding Data Health: monitor dashboard health and resolve data issues before reaching users.
Architecting Best Practices: document report logic, inputs, assumptions, and calculations in SOPs.
Championing Data Literacy: guide stakeholders to single source of truth dashboards and promote self-service data discovery.
Ensuring Analytical Excellence: perform data quality checks including reasonableness checks and source reconciliations.
Accelerating Your Growth: grow understanding of data locations, ownership, and tool value across the analytics stack.
Impacting Leadership Decisions: summarize insights and highlight risks or opportunities for leaders.
Strategic Workload Management: balance priorities using business impact, urgency, and effort.
