BIC World seeks a Category Analyst to support U.S. category development through data analysis, reporting, and execution tracking.

You’ll provide analytical support for customer meetings, promotional planning, pricing strategy, and new item launches while maintaining trackers and dashboards. The role emphasizes data integrity, actionable insights, and disciplined execution across customer initiatives, with a focus on KPI-driven results and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in CPG analytics or category management.
• Experience with syndicated data platforms (NielsenIQ, Circana) preferred.
• Strong Excel (pivot, lookups) and PowerPoint skills required.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analytical materials and data summaries for customer meetings.
• Support category development managers with ad hoc analyses.
• Build pre- and post-meeting performance recaps and charts.
• Analyze promotional effectiveness and price elasticity to guide strategies.
• Track SKU rationalization, SLOB, and assortment changes.
• Monitor competitive trends and provide actionable insights.
