Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. seeks a Category Analyst Summer Intern to support the Category Management team, starting with Kroger. You will analyze retail and shopper data and translate findings into concise recommendations for customers.

Work is onsite at the Mason, Ohio office four to five days per week, with travel to Lindt’s Stratham, NH headquarters as needed. Ideal candidates are undergraduates in Category Management or Analytics, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and a curiosity

Qualifications

• Coursework, projects, internships, or student leadership experience involving business analysis, marketing, consumer insights, retail, or related disciplines preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with data and creating presentations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complete project work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze retail, syndicated, shopper, and other data to identify category trends, opportunities, and drivers.
• Support planogram and merchandising analyses across stores or customer formats.
• Assist with store clustering and shopper segmentation to identify opportunities.
• Develop clear, unbiased recommendations that support category growth and customer objectives.
• Create concise business stories and presentations that synthesize data and insights for internal or customer discussions.
• Partner with Category Management, Sales, and cross-functional teams to advance projects.
• Maintain category data, analytical workspaces, planogram files, and shared resources.
• Own assigned project deliverables and present findings to the Category Management team.
