BCG Attorney Search seeks a Catastrophic Loss and General Liability Defense Associate in San Francisco. The role offers a chance to join a dynamic national coordinating counsel team and build a close relationship with a national client. A flexible, hybrid work arrangement is available.

The candidate will handle case work from pleadings to hearings, collaborate across offices, and manage a full civil defense docket while maintaining clear client communication. JD and CA admission required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in California.
• 4+ years of civil defense experience including premises liability, catastrophic loss, and general liability.
• Experience with dispositive motion practice and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to manage complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Provide clients with status reports and timely updates.
