Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with substantial claimant serious and catastrophic injury experience (8+ years PQE).

• Ability to challenge colleagues' thinking constructively while supporting a capable colleague.

Responsibilities

• Review and challenge strategy on liability, causation, quantum, rehabilitation and settlement.
• Help colleagues identify the evidence needed, resolve difficult technical points and make informed decisions on interim funding and long-term losses.
• Work includes claims with multi-million-pound outcomes and requires credible hands-on experience at that level of litigation.
• People leadership is equally important.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, coach senior lawyers, support development plans and handle performance discussions.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, maintain consistent client care standards and shape the way complex claims are managed across the team.

UK | Fully remote – UK | £80,000–£95,000

I'm recruiting a senior claimant catastrophic injury lawyer for a management role focused on technical strategy and the development of senior colleagues. This is a fully remote UK opportunity with a specialist serious injury law firm, offering £80,000–£95,000 plus bonus and benefits.

What you will take responsibility for

• You will review and challenge strategy on liability, causation, quantum, rehabilitation and settlement.
• You will help colleagues identify the evidence needed, resolve difficult technical points and make informed decisions on interim funding and long-term losses.
• The work includes claims with multi-million-pound outcomes and requires credible, hands‑on experience of that level of litigation.
• People leadership is equally important.
• You will conduct regular one-to-ones, coach senior lawyers, support development plans and handle performance discussions.
• You will also contribute to knowledge sharing, consistent standards of client care and the way complex claims are managed across the team.

Who would suit the position?

• I’m looking for a qualified solicitor with substantial claimant serious and catastrophic injury experience, with around eight or more years’ PQE as a guide.
• This would suit an experienced practitioner who wants their next move to place greater emphasis on technical leadership and people development.
