Job summary

Themis Recruit Ltd is seeking a qualified solicitor or FCILEx to manage a remote portfolio of serious injury claims. You will work closely with the lead fee earner, handling chargeable tasks, and maintaining excellent client communication.

Responsibilities include drafting, liaising with multidisciplinary experts, and mentoring juniors while driving cases forward in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with track record in serious injury claims.
• Able to liaise with multi-disciplinary experts.
• Strong negotiation and objection handling.
• Excellent client care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Know every case inside out and plan the resolution.
• Progress actions swiftly with the lead fee earner.
• Handle chargeable work under the fee earner's direction.
• Meet clients face to face and by phone.
• Liaise with medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, and others.
• Research liability, causation and quantum.
• Draft statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.
• Secure early interim payments and rehabilitation, and optimise settlements.
• Maintain the case management system up to date.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Perform well in a target-driven environment.
