Catastrophic Injury Senior Associate / Team Leader – Remote

Leeds | Home based | £70,000–£90,000

I'm working with a Legal 500 recommended law firm on a senior claimant catastrophic injury appointment offering home-based working. The role combines complex case work with supervision and support of serious injury lawyers handling Multi-Track claims.

The opportunity

You will bring substantial catastrophic injury experience to a practice dealing with high-value, complex claimant litigation. You will contribute to the strategy on liability, medical evidence and quantum, drawing on experience of multi-million-pound cases and the preparation needed to bring them to a sound conclusion.

The work requires close analysis of expert evidence, the long‑term impact of an injury and the evidence supporting future losses. You will work with counsel and other specialists and help ensure the claim is prepared properly for negotiations or trial.

Alongside that technical contribution, you will supervise and support colleagues on Multi‑Track files. That means being able to explain your reasoning, identify risks on a case and help another lawyer improve their own judgement, rather than simply providing an answer to the immediate question.

The right background

I'm looking for a solicitor with substantial claimant serious and catastrophic injury experience, with around eight or more years' PQE as a guide. You should have experience of highly complex, multi‑million‑pound claims and the credibility to support other practitioners.

This would suit an established lawyer seeking a combination of technical responsibility, team contribution and home working. It may also appeal to an existing supervisor who wants to retain close involvement in complex injury litigation.

The salary range is £70,000–£90,000, depending on experience, plus benefits. Home-based working is available with a Leeds connection.
