Handles all types of catastrophe property claims with independent judgment, and assists field offices with daily property claims when not deployed.
Establish contact with policyholders, assess damages, determine liability and claim value, prepare estimates, negotiate settlements, and document files. Supervise independent adjusters, stay current on legal requirements, and assist field offices as needed. Maintain operational readiness of assigned vehicle.

High school diploma or equivalent, with five years of claims handling experience including two in property claims. Knowledge of structural damage repair, valuation techniques, and software proficiency preferred. Valid driver’s license and residency within the territory required. Must be willing to serve on the Catastrophe Team, including short-notice travel.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, frequent driving, and access heights. Manual data entry and equipment handling required.
