Salary Range: $66,625.00-$106,427.00*

Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Position Summary
Handles all types of catastrophe property claims with discretion. Assists field office when not on deployment in managing daily property claims.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contact policyholders, assess damages, set reserves, prepare estimates, negotiate claims, supervise independent adjusters, attend training, and support field offices. Maintain claim files and ensure compliance with legal standards. Provide operational support for assigned vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of claims handling experience, including two in property claims. Knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation. Preferred: AIC certification, estimating software proficiency, appropriate state license, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel on short notice for catastrophe responses.
Physical Requirements
Lift/move 0-20 lbs often; 20-50 lbs often; over 50 lbs with equipment; frequent driving; occasional pushing/pulling; data entry; climbing heights. Located primarily in Charleston, WV.
