Job summary

DW Simpson is seeking a senior Catastrophe Portfolio Modeler to lead cat modeling for select Commercial & Specialty lines. You will build relationships with underwriters and contribute to business planning, portfolio optimization, and tool development.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in catastrophe modeling, strong property insurance/reinsurance knowledge, and excellent analytical skills. RMS and/or AIR proficiency is required; CPCU certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong property insurance/reinsurance knowledge.
• CPCU certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the catastrophe portfolio modeling for select Commercial & Specialty product lines.
• Build relationships with underwriters and contribute to overall analytic strategies (business planning, portfolio optimization, tool development).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modeling improvements and new analytical approaches.

Global insurance company is seeking a talented individual to lead the Catastrophe Portfolio modeling for select Commercial & Specialty Product lines. They will build relationships with underwriters and be involved in wider analytic strategies including business planning, portfolio optimization, and technical tool development.
