Job summary

Peace River Center seeks a CAT Mentor to provide mentoring and support for children and adolescents in mental health services. You will help families navigate services and promote resiliency and recovery, enabling daily living and social skills in the participant's environment.

You will document progress, attend team meetings, and assist with transportation and everyday tasks, including personal hygiene, while adhering to PRC policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs.
• Certification as a Behavioral Technician in Florida is preferred but not required.
• Complete PRC required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and support to CAT participants and families.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Document progress notes and assessments in Credible.
• Attend daily staff meetings and treatment planning reviews.
