Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CT Technologist, Per Diem Hospital.
In this role, the successful candidate under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates Computed Tomography equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images. Performs procedures according to established standards and practices without constant supervision of technical detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a Technical Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services. New York State Radiologic Technologist License. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Advanced Certification in CT required within one (1) year of Hire or transfer. New York State Department of Health IV Contrast Injection Certification, (Part 89-Section89. 40) required within one (1) year of Hire or transfer. 1 - 2 years In Radiologic Technology. Strong communication (both written and oral), problem solving, and customer service skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Radiology program or related Health field. 1 - 2 years In CT. Thorough knowledge of CT equipment.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61.00 - $61.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
