Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, NYS DOH Radiology license with contrast injection capability, CT experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast.
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axial Tomography (CT) preferred.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required; no online programs accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and research CT procedures with independent judgment.
• Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality and identifies images and patient.
• Documents delivery of contrast media and adheres to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains compliance with JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.

Job Details

We are looking for a Per Diem Cat Scan Technologist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative.
• The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred
• BLS required ( American Heart Association) No online programs from any organization will be accepted.

Salary Range

USD $44.42 - USD $55.14 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
