Job summary

We are looking for a Per Diem CAT Scan Technologist to join our team at Catholic Health. The candidate will perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and manage contrast administration in a fast-paced hospital setting on Long Island.

Required ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license, with at least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience. BLS and adherence to regulatory standards are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast.
• 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment.
• Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality and proper patient identification.

We are looking for a Per Diem CAT Scan Technologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative.
• The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast
• 1 year of Diagnostic experience required
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.
• BLS required- American Heart Association only accepted.

Salary Range

USD $64.55 - USD $64.55 /Hr.
