Job summary

Catholic Health Services is seeking a CT technologist to perform MDCT procedures, produce high-quality images, and manage contrast delivery. You will work within St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, applying strict safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires NY radiographer licensure, ARRT registration, and completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, with a strong focus on CT accuracy and patient care. 12PM-8PM shifts, weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed NY radiographer and ARRT registered.

• CT imaging knowledge and proper protocol selection.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and research MDCT procedures with independent judgment.
• Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality and accuracy.
• Documents delivery of contrast media and adheres to policies/regulations.
• Ensures patient safety and appropriate protocol execution.

Job Details

12PM-8PM, working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, alternating Saturdays 4p-12a, Sundays 4p-12a, with rotating holidays

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and research MDCT procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative.
• Performs CT IR Procedures
• The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media.
• Adheres to St. Francis hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements

• NYS radiographer's license
• Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• BLS required
• Completion of Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Tomography required.

Salary Range

USD $54.51 - USD $67.48 /Hr.
