Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) for a travel assignment in Staten Island, NY. You will produce CT radiographs, obtain patient history, and explain procedures, performing specialized CT tasks as required.

The role requires ARRT certification or state-required credentials, licensure in diagnostic imaging, and CPR where applicable; travel-friendly schedule with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT Certification may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.

Job Type: Travel

Pay: $3819 / Week

Hours: 37.50

Location: Staten Island, NY

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
