Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) in Rochester, NY. This contract–full-time position offers a pay rate of $77 per hour with 40 hours per week.

The CT Technologist will perform CT imaging, obtain patient histories, and explain procedures to patients. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure in diagnostic imaging, ARRT certification if required, and CPR if applicable.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.

• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
