Job summary

St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, part of Catholic Health Services on Long Island, seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform CT and MRI procedures during evening shifts. You will generate high-quality images, ensure proper patient identification, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires NY radiographer licensure, ARRT registration, and knowledge of CT and MRI protocols. BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• NYS radiographer's license.
• Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography (CT) & MRI required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CT scan and MRI procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Produces and evaluates CT/MRI images for technical quality and proper patient identification.
• Adheres to hospital policies and maintains service excellence.

Shift - Evening - 4p -12am

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CAT scan and MRI procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative.
• The technologist will produce and evaluate CT/MRI images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Adheres to St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/ regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
• NYS radiographer's license, registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology, knowledge and working experience in computerized axid tomography required.

Salary Range

USD $52.66 - USD $65.52 /Hr.
