Southern TN Regional Health System - Pulaski is seeking a Cat Scan Technician to join our radiology team on a PRN basis. You will prepare contrast media, monitor patient status, select imaging parameters, and ensure quality control of imaging equipment.

The role requires ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accreditation in Radiology-related fields, BLS-HCP certification, and CT registry within a year of hire. This position emphasizes patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Education: ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB registry– Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.
• Certifications: BLS-HCP required; ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire/transfer.

How you'll contribute

• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

What we're looking for

Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required. Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required; ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry required. ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required (within 1 year hire/transfer).
