Memorial Physician Practices in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, seeks a Cat Scan Technician to contribute to our mission of enhancing community health. This role involves reviewing patient histories, preparing and administering contrast media, and performing imaging procedures with a focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in radiologic technology and relevant certifications, as well as a passion for patient care. We prioritize employee well-being with programs for mental, physical, and financial wellness.

Competenze

• Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT certification or equivalent required.
• AZ MRT certification necessary.

How You’ll Contribute

• Review patient history and physician's order.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medication within scope of practice.
• Monitor patients' condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s).
• Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) RT (R)(CT) or (ARRT) RT (R) in preceptorship.
• AZ MRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist or AZ MRT Computed Tomography Preceptorship or Temporary Computed Tomography Technologist.
• Previous hospital experience in CT is preferred.
