Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging in alignment with physician orders. You will ensure patient safety, operate imaging equipment, and document procedures in the EMR system.

You will collaborate with radiologists, maintain strict infection control and HIPAA compliance, and uphold radiation safety standards while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• CT examinations must be performed within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT and X-ray examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment.
• Documents procedures and maintains patient records in the EMR system.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
• Adheres to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA regulations.
