Job summary

LPX Group in Louisville, KY is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician with at least 5 years’ experience repairing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting CAT heavy construction equipment. In this role, technicians will perform engine, electrical and hydraulic system repairs in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience repairing CAT heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair using CAT ET and SIS.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Own tools and valid driver’s license; weekend on-call availability.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot CAT heavy equipment in the field.
• Perform engine, electrical and hydraulic system work with minimal supervision.
