Ohio CAT is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar machines both in the shop and in the field across Ohio. You will work on dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, and haul trucks using your diagnostic skills to keep equipment performing at peak levels.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with a diesel/power equipment tech program, plus 5+ years of hands-on repair experience and strong knowledge of Caterpillar engines and systems.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED with a 2+ year diesel/power equipment tech program plus at least 3 years in the industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on repair experience with diesel, earthmoving, or industrial equipment

Aufgaben

• Diagnostics and repair on heavy equipment, including Caterpillar engines and drive-train components, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine and complex repairs, inspect and maintain equipment, and rebuild components to ensure optimal performance.
• Service Air Conditioning systems, maintain detailed service records, collaborate with other technicians on complex repairs, and follow all safety protocols in the shop.
