Cats Limited Veterinary Hospital in West Hartford, CT is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the friendly first face or voice for our feline-focused practice. You will support clients, manage schedules, and help keep veterinary records up to date in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Veterinary Receptionist/CSR preferred but not required.
• Experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment.
• Must be a team player and compassionate toward pets and their people.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and professionally using a multi-line system.
• Warmly greets clients.
• Maintains appointment schedules.
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records.
• Answers clients' inquiries about basic animal care and routine procedures.
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions.
• Handles medical records entries accurately.
• Prepares client invoices for services performed.
• Handles payment transactions.
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly.
• Builds rapport with clients in person and over the phone.
