We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Casualty Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising adjusting staff, controlling workflows, auditing work products, conducting performance reviews, interviewing, hiring, and training new personnel. The Casualty Supervisor will ensure timely handling and closure of claims, maximize customer satisfaction, and handle complaint calls independently.
Supervise adjusting staff, control workflows of unit Audit work product
Conduct performance review/evaluations of unit staff
Interview, hire and train new personnel
Responsible for all performance in the unit including adjusters reporting through a Team Leader within the unit.
Ensure timely handling and closure of the Unit’s claims by ensuring the adjusters make contacts, investigate and resolve their claims correctly and quickly.
Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction. To achieve this, they are expected to handle complaint calls in a timely manner each day which and minimize all Insurance Department inquiries and complaints which requires an ability to work independently with little hands-on supervision.
College degree is preferred, however, a candidate with over 5 years Personal Lines Auto adjusting experience and previous supervisory experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years Personal Lines adjusting experience including handling large loss OR litigation claims with strong adjusting and negotiation skills.
General office skills including faxing, copying and filing. Proficient in typing.
Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to deal with all levels of people.
Above average research skills, ability to gather data and present ideas at a level commensurate with the intended audience.
