Job description

• Managing a more complex caseload of automobile liability claims and general liability claims.
• Mentoring more junior members of the Casualty Team
• Analyzing insurance policies and contracts to ensure accurate coverage determinations
• Utilizing internal and external resources to investigate facts of loss with the purpose of accurately documenting liability and to rule out fraud
• Creating appropriate reserves and expense recommendations for management when appropriate
• Monitoring vendor usage and controlling expense costs

Qualifications and Skills:

• Over 5+ years of experience handling bodily injury claims
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrates a strong learning mindset, quickly adapting to new systems, processes, and claim practices.
• Solid interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and collaborate in a team environment
• Familiarity with multi-state claims regulations a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
